I love this office! I felt so comfortable, prioritized, and not rushed at all. Very friendly vibe in the office and I appreciate that no one felt stuffy. First visit and I'm locked in!

Dr. Megan Wells is a wonderful provider! She answered all of my questions in depth, directly addressed any concerns I had, discussed a plan for my care and advice for when to switch out my lenses and frames. The office was helpful and up front about all costs associated with my care and handled a sensitive financial situation with grace and kindness. I’ve never needed to care for my eyes prior to adulthood, but I’ve been coming to Dayton Optometric Center since 2021/22. I’ve never been disappointed with my care. I highly recommend their team, especially Dr. Wells.

Dr. Megan Wells is fantastic. She blends professionalism with being personable extremely well. She always answers all of my questions, makes me dumb big brain understand why my eyes are rebelling, & puts up with terrified that I’m answering the questions wrong. Shout to Jenny & her crew in the frame—fitting department. We did a full montage & had a blast trying to find glasses that fit my bumpy head.

Dr. Wells was exceptionally skilled and kind, very passionate to deliver the optimum experience for vision and promote long term eye health. Delivered the best eye care experience throughout. If you are looking for a new optometrist, look no further than this office. The front desk people are efficient and pleasant. Dr. Wells and her assistant explain all procedures carefully and pause to make sure you understand. Every time I go they seem to have a new piece of equipment—I like that they provide the most current care possible. They don’t pressure you into adding on additional services or treatments that aren’t covered by insurance. The techs who help you with glasses selection are great. This is a wonderful place for eye care!

Dr. Wells is very thorough in her exam, and explains everything in great detail. I’ve had annual eye exams for YEARS, and for the first time ever I was shown the optical photos, with explanations of everything she saw. I then had wonderful help choosing new glasses; the woman who helped me was so personable, funny, and knowledgeable. I truly appreciated her help! I would highly recommend this practice!!

We love Dr. wells. My daughters feel much more comfortable with her than the old man they used to see! She takes time to do thorough exams and explains everything perfectly.

I had a great experience at this office. I didn’t have to wait long before being seen, which I really appreciated. The doctor was kind, respectful, and very professional. She got right to the point, explained everything clearly, and gave me sound, practical advice without making the appointment feel rushed. What stood out most was that she didn’t push extra products or unnecessary add-ons like I’ve experienced at other eye doctors. The appointment was quick but thorough, and I left feeling confident in the care I received. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an honest and efficient eye doctor.

The Dayton VA Medical Center has sent me there twice to have my eyes examined. Both time I was assigned to Dr. Megan Wells. She is very sweet and thorough at her job. My second visit I actually requested to be seen by her.

Really great experience here the other day. Though it took a long time to get an appointment, it was well worth the wait. Dr. Gilbert CLEARLY is a top notch professional who really cares about providing the best possible experience. He took the time to listen to my concerns, and made some very helpful suggestions and recommendations to me. After the thorough exam, I did visit the optical shop and again was pleased by the professionalism and customer service. I am looking forward to and very excited to get my new pair of eyeglasses (after a disasterous recent experience at a local ‘shopping mall chain’ eyeglass shop).
